New Wheels

Just picked these up today. Petrol Vengeance.

18x8 +40

This is what I was running... I bent one of the wheels so I decided to start over.

i like the look of the flush and bronze on the other wheels, but the new ones still look good.
225/40 tires?
almost looks like you could have went with a 35et offset in the back. Why do they look so sunk in i wonder?

I'm not sure. I was thinking that +40 would be close to flush all around. Right now there is slight rubbing in the rear -- but I am getting my rear fenders rolled tomorrow (and an aftermarket cat installed).

I'm also thinking that a 5mm spacer would look good in the rears too. What do you think?

You can run a 5mm spacer and it will be flush. My 19x8.5" +40mm were flush, and thats the equivalent of an 8" wide wheel with an approximately +34mm offset.

I'm looking at adding a wider tire but not sure if they will fit without rubbing. I now have 215/45 R17's and looking at some Michelin Pilots 245/40's but think they might be too wide in the back. I believe my offset is 42. What do you guys think??

I added 5mm H&R spacers and now the rears are flush. When I had the CL up on the lift I noticed that the previous owner shaved most of the material off of the fenders -- so much for having them rolled. I also took a grinder to the bumper tabs

What do you think about another 5mm spacer up front?

What do you guys think: I have the itch for the same style of wheel but in 9.5"+35mm only for the rears. I'll most likely use the same tires I have now for a stretch -- 225/40. I know that staggered is not functional (I'm over that) but I want the look.
