New Suspension setup

So far the winter has told me that my car is too low. SO I wanna get a new suspension setup that makes my ride a little bit higher.

Right now I have Tokico Blues w/ H&R springs which gave the car a 2in. drop all around.

Any advice on a good spring/shock combo? I really dont wanna get coilovers because I believe in the fact that they're mostly for the track and that a good spring/shock combo = coilovers.

So far I've thought about some Koni Yellows w/ TEIN H. Tech. springs.

I was wondering though if they still sold Comptech Springs and if they do where can I find them?!

Anyand all help is appreciated as always.

if your going to be changing your suspension every winter than you should get coilovers or go back to stock

Comptech has the most conservative drop IMO

Perhaps but the facts are that H-tech and H&R OE sit higher still.

Nevermind about the comptech thing. Why not try the H&R Sport. 1.5" Front, 1.2" Rear. You must be on the H&R Race springs. Coilovers might not be a bad idea, that way you can go low in the summer and raise it up in the winter. What sort of problems are you having in the snow?

If I knew how to upload pics from my phone to my computer, I would pist a pic I took the other day....

I drove about 3 blocks hearing a crunching noise coming from the front drivers side...stopped, got out and found a huge block snow/ice I was pushing along lol

Also I got the problem of getting stuck in the ruts that the SUVs make when the middle section is about 3 in. taller than the front end

I was really into a Koni yellow/S.Tech combo but then read the specs and figured it would probably sit the same or even lower...

But I am set on getting the Konie Yellows...just need to figure out a mild drop spring the goes 1.75 in. in front and 1.5 inch back or close to that

Neuspeed springs: 1.8F 1.7R
H&R Sport: 1.5F 1.2 R
Tein H Tech: 1.2F 1.2R

That's all i can think of now. I always kick my mud guards before/after i get in the car. Snow builds up there and can be a pain in the a$$. S-techs will be near the same as your are now (2.1F 1.7R). No plows near where you live? Coilovers are still a good option for your situation...just keep an eye on the black market.

with the economy bad and all the great Mayor Daley of Chicago has only let the snow plows do major streets, all the sidestreets are still covered.

I had to help 2 people unstuck the cars yesterday when I was picking up my sister from school.

Wow, that's brutal. You'd think they'd up the budget on snow removal after last year.
