found a deal on a set of motegi wheels, want to pick them up tonight but need some advice quick on whether they'll fit for sure. 245/40/18 on 18x7.5 rim 44 offset... Pretty sure they'll fit but 245 seems kinda wide for a 7.5" rim.

Also, I'm dropped on comptech springs

the wheel fitment is fine in terms of width and offset...but you will be better off running a 225/40/18 instead of the 245 so it doesn't rub...go for it!!

The wheels already have the 245 tires mounted on 'em. Think they'll rub? Where?

Just got back home, went and looked at the rims. They were Motegi FF7 silver/chrome lip.... 245 on a 7.5 rim........ wtf was I thinking. They bulged out about an inch from the side of the rim, Highly doubt they'd fit on a dropped CL.

Verdict... 245 on 18x7.5.... hahaha good luck. I hope someone who questions this same theory finds this thread one day
