Need serious advice on 18's I want to buy w/ a slight issue

I'm looking at the Mille Miglia EV-S's. I called tirerack and they have 3 brand new 18x7 +45 wheels in stock. Due to them being discontinued, they cannot get 1 more brand new wheel. In their dent and repair department, they have 2 more EV-S's. 1 has a slight gouge on the spoke and the other used wheel has a scratch on the face. They cannot provide a pic, so I dont know what they look like.

He is also going to set me up with some Avon m550 All Season tires along with the wheels.

The brand new wheels are $189 a piece.
Both of the slight damaged wheels (I get to choose) are $94.
Each tire is $136 a piece.

He said, 3 brand new rims + the one used wheel of my choice + 4 tires + mounting/balancing/shipping would come out to $1276.

What would you guys do? Move on or do this and pic one of the damaged wheels. Which damaged wheel would you pick?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't even put 18X7 wheels on the CLS. Your not getting any perfomance gain over stock beacuse they are not wider.
Don't know about those tires, but at $136/each they aren't cheap. You can get Toyo's for only a few dollars more per tire.
With that said, As long as the wheels aren't bent either should be fine. I'd pick the one with the scratch.

Thanks for your response. You think i should be ok with 7.5 or 8 with my drop without rolling my fenders?

Rim offset will decided that. You have a pretty standard setup so +45 or higher should be ok in 7.5, +48 or higher for 8".

So 18x7 you think would be out of the question? Thing is, these wheels are discontinued, so it will be a slim chance I can find 7.5's.

It's your choice. There's nothing wrong with getting those rims. If I was spending the $$ I'd get something that was wider, & fit the car better.
Although keep in mind since you can't find the rims anymore, what happens if you damage one down the road?

Do you guys know of any rim that looks similar to that, that isnt discontinued?

Also, how about 18x8 +45 w/ a 2 inch drop?

In my own opinion go with a 7.5 +45. Just cause I know it will tuck and even have a litte baby of a lip. Thats fact. but if it were me I'd get 19's. I miss my old rims. But soon I'll be ridin twinkies. And before anyone says thats to heavy. One your CL is not a race car and if its close to being one, you should have strip rims/tires anyway. ONCE AGAIN IN MY OWN OPINION. But for real, post pics when you get it together.
