Alright guys, so i need some advice and opinions.

Im not really sure about the direction i want to take my CL soooooooo i did some quick chops. So far i know i want Black, not really sure where lol but i want some black on the car.

Keep in mind that sometime in the near future i am going to be buying some wheels. Most likely mesh in either black, grey, or gunmetal.

So with that, i need opinions. Whether it be which one you like, dont like or i need to change/add something, go a completely different direction.......

 

for me #1 but i learned that car looks different on the picture and differenet in real. so if not #1 thats gonna be a #5 or #3

I vote on your 1st pic.And those smoked amber lenses are hot.Are those real or chopped also.There making me want to split my lamps again. Most I would do is some legal tint on the front,sit it a little lower,and maybe some big black tips out the back.And your cl would look perfect.Looks sweet in all pics thou.

No.1 if I had to pick something from the list...

Feeling a different direction though...and maybe that has to do with the current wheels.

 

They're very subtle changes but ok.......any suggestions?

dont paint your wheels, cuz in the end all they will be is just stock rattle canned wheels --- leave them the way they are and buy a new set of something you really like

head lights look awesome stock the way they are, tinted tails (upper part) might look good...

sometimes less is more...

 

I'd like to see some different wheels...

I'll think it'll transform the way your car looks.

And I've never been a fan of tinting your headlights...

 

Yea I'm NOT keeping the stock wheels, just wanted to see the color. As for the tails, I look the look of just the upper part tinted like yours NF3 and like Ralphie mentioned

maybe im retarded but i dont see a difference between 3 and 4, also i think if ure gonna go the black route you should black out the chrome trim, im blacking mine all out tomorrow

Like I said, they're very subtle changes.

I am working on some more chops that will be more detailed and area specific like tails, headlights, calipers and other thing so that you guys can get a better idea and help me decide.

^ I think number 1 only works if you have dark ass wheels to go along with it...

Number two you could pull off with a very light coat

And I just don't like number 3 at all

 

I'd tint the whole tail light, but not that dark, just something subtle.

 

clear the amber, no tint on headlights

i like the reverse tint or the whole tail light

 

i vote for the second tail light pic when i get my 03 tails thats how im going to do them

 

My opinion.

Cleared reflector.
tint bottom or all of tails.
tint/black the chrome trims.
Tenzo-r DC-6s or Type Ms (VS-XX copy pretty much)

Don't smoke the heads.

 

Yea i cant decide between the reverse or the whole thing, but im leaning a little towards tinting the whole thing

They are a few more different variations for this wheel such as the same "Charcoal Grey" (what they call it) except with a machined lip, which like i stated above, i believe is the difference between V1 and V2:

THE ONLY thing i dont like about this wheel, is that the spokes have a "bowed" effect. +45

 

Yeah I don't like the bowed spokes either.

That's what I don't like about mine either.

 

I'm going with either the DC-6s or Type Ms when I finally replace my rims.
