Quick question. I got my ksports a year or two ago used and never got instructions. Are the rears adjustment the same as the front? i can adjust the fronts using the bottom perch. was a bitch to do since there was alot of dirt and grime in the threads but i got it done and cleaned the threads out. When I tried to adjust the back only 2 perches moved. are all 3 supposed to move? i was tryin pretty freakin hard to get that bottom perch to move but couldnt do it. So any info on gettin the rears adjusted would be very welcome.

u are only suppose to losen up the bottom nut.
spray some of that wd40 on it and leave it there for a while. It should come loose after that. spin that up and then move the whole threaded section with hand to a desired height. Then move that nut to sit on top of the bottom body piece and tighten it.

Give it a light whack and the lock nut will loosen right up.
Also, DO NOT adjust height using the two lock nuts on the spring. The springs are compressed to preset values and when you loosen those lock nuts it will screw it up.

Hey folks, my name's Matt and I work for Ksport USA. I figured I'd post up some info and a link to our coilover instructions.
The term "perch" refers to the piece that supports the spring. Our coilovers have a lower spring perch (What the spring sits on), a spring locking collar, and a lower mount locking collar. In addition to the spring perch, locking collars, and spring, you also have a lower mount.
To adjust ride height, simply loosen the lower mount locking collar with a mallet and punch as mentioned above, and spin the lower mount up. Bolt the mount to your vehicle, and using the mallet/punch, tighten the locking collar against the lower mount.
If you have a lot of debris on the coilover, You'll probably want to use some penetrating liquid. And a bit of patience.
Here's a link to our coilover instructions.

PB Blaster and a wire brush are your friend, all it takes is one little piece of dirt to jam up the perches.. Also, once you have everything cleaned up might want to apply some Boeshield T-9 to make things easier next time around. I have yet to adjust mine since applying it 2 years ago, but that was a recommendation I made sure to follow.
