Ideal Wheel Size

Hello all,
Re: 2001 Acura CL-S (Cdn)

I know this topic has beaten to death on this forum but I am a perfectionist and wheel style is equally as important as the fit and flushness of the wheel itself. I see CL's that have the nastiest overbite (you know the look, they way the factory 17's look in the rear when the car has been dropped like 2.5 inches) or on the flip side, the offroader look where the wheel comes out of the fender about a quarter inch.
Now, I know we're all a little screwed with wheel selection due to the offset requirements of Honda/Acura vehicles (save for the beloved NSX) and I want to fit my car with absolute most flush finish i can accomodate. I am willing to roll my rear fenders and have them welded and I dont think that same can be done for the front judging by the way the fender lip is finished from the factory.

My question, what is most ideal 19" wheel size to get the flushest setup possible? The RonJon site lists the new Devotion for the 01 CL as requiring a 19x8 with a 45mm offset, and this to me is probably the safest setup. What are your thoughts/experiences on pushing that little further? I want to run 19x8 with a 40mm offset and a either a 215 or 225 size tire.

Thanks in advance for all your replies.

235/35/19 is really the best tire size, and check this out, its a new forged version of the three piece.
