i need springs?

Just got my 2001 Cl type S and I want to drop it ? But I need advise on what springs would give me the best drop? And I would not like to have to waste money on coilovers

Define "best drop." How low do you want to go????? Coilovers are not a waste either.

I would like it where the fender is right by the tire but I don't want to rub. ...

How do you expect people to answer you when you're asking such vague questions? How much gap would you like between the tire and fender?

Look, just google these companies and see the pics of their springs on a CL, or search this site.

H&R
B&G

Rubbing depends on a few things, like what rims and tires you're running, the offset of your rims...

i bought H&R lowering springs and have had them on my car for 5 years now. i wish i would've bought coil overs instead, so ya, they're not a waste
