How much for Tires

I just paid under 600 for a set of Nitto 235/40ZR/17s this includes everything and free rotation for life of tires. These are the Nitto NT 450 Extreme Perf tires. The Tires were 115 each+balance and shipping blah blah blah. .... I know we all chat about what kind but what price damn you what price

If the tires have a thick rim guard, have your car aligned(sp??) before they mount the tires, if you haven't had an alignment done yet.

How can 18's fit on a 17" wheel? Anyhow, it doesn't sound safe.

I'd really like to know where you all are getting these cheap tires...prices I'm being quoted are started a $188 up to $250 each.

I'd really think twice about buying cheap tires...a car is not something I'd want to take a risk with "getting what you pay for".

Good luck.

he is not fitting 18s on 17 wheels, the width is different, thats it.

Nittos are Nittos, they have proven to be good tires (no matter how much you pay for them ).

I got mine from a local shop: Discount Tires co.

they gave me a good deal 'cause I got the whole set up from them, tires/rims combo.

Alrighty! I drove them home form the shop and to the office this morning. They are much louder than my other tires ( stock OEM ). They seem to slide less in the turns. I have been told to let them wear in a little bit before driving too fast...is 125 tooo fast Just wanted to see how they felt. That speed with a bit of Robert Miles on my CD player was almost tooo much for me. The tread pattern is really awsome. The only thing is they are directional tires and are made for left or right side. Kinda neat to brag about but sucks when they start to wear. If you are in Atlanta and want tires Call Discount Tires @ 678-494-1238 and ask to speak with Armondo. He knows his stuff and might work a deal for rims and tires. There web site is www.tires.com Peace!
