How many of you have needed a camber kit?

I know this topic comes up often (and yes, i've searched)

But, How many of you guys have actually needed a camber after the initial alignment after your drop?

I'm planning on doing a H&R sport/tokico blue drop in december, some have told me "you'll be fine" other's say i won't know till i do my alignment. That's alot of dough to shell out after alignments and such.

Based on my own experience, I needed it. Mine's dropped on Tein S-Tech's w/ Tokico blues. Believe me though, it's worth it coz if you don't, you'll end up buyin' new tires REAL soon afterwards....

You'll def. need it with H&R's.
Thats why I went conservative drop w/ Tanabe NF210's.
No camber kit needed. Tires wear perfectly still after 2 years.

it took my springs 3 years to settle to a point where i finally fell out of acceptable spec range in my rear...got the Ingalls camber kit, i think they are the best for design and ease of adjustment. By putting on the rear kit, it actually improved my front wheel camber also and keeping me within specs....initially, never needed a camber kit with my HR SPort Springs

Yes, the only real way to know is to get an alignment and see how much your camber or toe is off. It really depends on how low you go. You might just need a rear camber kit like the one from Ingalls which adjusts toe and camber.

^ This one Excelerate is just for the rear?

I am going to be running Tein SS-P coilovers shortly and trying to figure everything I'm going to need.

From members input / research...

I will need the control arms, camber kit front & rear.

Thoughts?

My opinion....get the Ingall's kit from excelerate! I purchased one from him, and it is great! MUCH BETTER then the SPC IMOH!

I have Tein H-techs and do not have camber kits. The alignment specs within acceptable stock limits.

I read mrheeltotoe's article about camber vs. toe and will definitely be waiting for my alignment specs before buying a camber kit.

Does anyone have the stock camber limits available?

krazykrnboi you are still having issues after getting that control arm?

Yes, that is the rear kit only. There are adjustable front ball joints but if you're slammed you will have more clearance with the Ingalls control arm with ball joints.

^^^ I had a same exprience when I had Ingalls full control arm on my car.
so I took a part again. and I noticed the edge of control arm(ball joint side) rubs inner fender well. It was f**king annoying me. so I just grinded out that edge little bit. after that I was happy. No more rubbing and noise.
