How about chrome plating my CL-S wheels?

Okay. I need some help here. I am thinking about chrome plating my stock CL-S wheels. The issue is I am not sure if I should chrome plate the wheels or just buy new aftermarket wheel that can make use of the stock tires (90-percent tread left). The other issue is that I am not certain if chrome looks good on a silver CL-S. Chrome plating costs about $550.

The car in the links is a dark color which looks nice with chrome wheels. I question chrome wheels on a solver CL-S. So much to do and so little time...

Thanks for the compliment hawkeye!! See if someone will photoshop my wheels onto your car!! I know Edub-TL will. There has to be some other fools on here who will too. Just ask around. Have you tried www.tirerack.com?? you can put some chrome wheels on your car and see how they look too. Just some suggestions.

I saw a silver car with chromes a while back. It looked pretty good, IMO.

Stock wheels = Scuffed
Stock wheels + Chrome Plating = Scuffed(More pissed)
Buy a nice set of aftermarket wheels it will look better and the wont stick out to get so than cant get scuffed, unless you try really hard.
