My cars up on stands in my garage and ive been workin on the tophat nut for about a half an hour. Ive got the spring compressed and everythings goin as planned but this thing WONT BUDGE. Its startin to strip inside where the allen hole is. ANy suggestions on how to loosen or get it off? Thanks all

 

Also, now that ive got ONE side off...am I supposed to get new bumpstops or do I use the ones from the stock strut?? If im supposed to use the stock ones.....how in the hell do I get em off?? Anyone??

 

the bumpstop should just slide off. do you have an impact gun on the nut?

 

Ive got the tophat and nut off and I went ahead and pulled off the stock dustcover and bottom plate. The problem from here is that the tokico's didnt come with bump stops so im not sure what to use and i cant really wait too long, ive already got a ride comein to get me tomorrow morning for work The stock bumpstop doesnt slide off this one...its quite a POS.....any suggestions?
