I believe S Tech is a little bit more stiffer & lower than H Tech . I'm using S Techs on my '01 CLS but I'm only on 18s with 225/40/18 Federal tires . Also, just FYI in case you're not aware, Tein's website mentions fake Teins have been seen on Ebay & they show they way to identify the fakes. Best way to avoid the whole fake Teins scenario is to buy them from a reputable dealer . I'd like to show some pix of my ride, but my daughter always seems to "confiscate" the digi-cam when I need it !!

Yeah, I had a question about these springs too...which would look better? H-Tech's on 19's or S-Tech's on 18's? I don't want my car slammed, but just low enough to not have a huge gap.

To me, I would say that I like the way my car is right now because when I bought my rims, I haven't installed the springs yet & I had that "4x4" look for about a week . But once I installed the springs and closed the gap, all's good now But also, bear in mind that the car is not slammed & the gap is about roughly an inch. Just my but that's enough clearance that even with 2 people in the back seat, I encounter no rubbing & that's with stock struts too.

I have TEIN H-Tech spring on stock shocks. I have an 18" wheel and tire combo. The drop is even all the way around, just the front wheel arches are larger than the rear so it looks a bit strange.

I have been told the Koni's are bad ass, and worth the money. But I don't want to take the back seat out of the car to adjust the rear shocks. I am considering TEIN coilovers with EDFC to replace my stock shocks when I hit 70K.

That's true as far as the rear adjustment goes unfortunately . If I do end up with the Konis, I'll probably end up dialing them in for the street conditions here in San Jo & leave 'em be. But still need to save the $$$ . After that I want to get some Greddy Evo II's for my exhaust . Oh, just on a side note, did you hear that Comptech's closing shop? If all goes that way, can't wait for the "clearance" sale

Yep... I heard the news through my Acura dealer, and from this forum. Sucky situation, but I am sure other aftermarket vendors will ick up the slack. Whether the quality is as good remains to be seen.
