H&R OE/Sport

Hey ya'll. Quick question. If I get the HR OE or Sport springs, is it cool to skip out on the shocks for now? Or is it not advisable to skimp out on the aftermarket shocks? Will the springs wear down my stock shocks to unusable points? How long approximately before I'm gonna have to switch out the stock shocks after spring replacement? Sorry about the newb questions. Thanks ya'll.

Search around a little. There are many threads on this subject. Real quick - you can use stock shocks but they will ware out sooner with lowering springs. How soon depends. I did springs w/ stock shocks as I am waiting for Bilstien to release shocks for the 03 CL-S. Ofcourse, I'll have to pay twice for installation.

I've also seen people blow the stock shocks within 10k miles.

if you havent blown the stock shocks yet on lower springs.. you will. personally, I would do them both at the same time, not only to just get it done in one shot, but to avoid all potential problems.. rather than causing more of a pain in the ass that I need to.
if you are getting the springs first, just hang on till you get shocks/strut.

Anyone know how much installation for springs and shocks would be?

So all in total... I'd be paying for
Springs
Shocks/struts (2 sets right? Front and back?)
Camber kit
Installation

Any idea how much a whole suspension overhaul would cost me?

Would it be better to just go with coilovers?

You (most likely) will not need a camber kit with H&R Sports.... definitely won't need a kit with the OE's. I have sports, and don't need a camber kit. So you'd be paying for Springs, shocks, and install. And Installation usually runs around $300-$400 for all four wheels.
