i just got some tein s tech springs for my cls and its sitting on 18's. would using my stock shocks be ok i would like to know before i put the springs on.

 

it's a good idea to replace the stock struts if you can afford it, but i've been driving on my stock ones for 2 years with the H&R sports and they're still good.

so basically if you have the $$$, i'd do it to save you from doing it later, but it's not a need.

 

is the ride going to be boucing or will the ride be ok.

 

If you have a lot of miles on your car it is a good idea to swap them. What are you at now?

 

ya it will be a bit bumpier, but mine isn't bad at all. most people who come in the car still think it rides normal

 

I have 52K on mine with eibach's and stock struts. I think the ride is great this is my third lowered car and I had the $$$ for struts. I rode in a CL with the same setup and he has problay had the setup for at least 40K (RJ). I was sold to keep the stocks. I know that they won't last but I want coilovers later anyway. They have only been on the car for 5K.
