Factory vs aftermarket stabilizer links/sway bar links

Hey All,

Need some advise.

Anybody replaced their CL's stabilizer links recently? Mine have quite a bit of play on them, which makes noise when driving over rough road, and I'm going to replace them.

Problem is I don't know whether to go aftermarket, from partsource.ca, parts at 25 bucks a pop or factory from acura at 60 bucks?

I've been historically okay with aftermarket until I ran into an upper ball joint problem. The darn aftermarket didn't seat properly which I meant had to replace them out twice

Anybody already done this? Or got any suggestions?

Thanks,

Q

Try to source MOOG end links. Theyre stronger and a better design. You can find them on Amazon. Theyll be for a 98-02 Accord (same fitment, MOOG doesnt list the CL end links though).

Yeah you can't go wrong with MOOG. I bought them when I bought my Progress rear sway bar and they are great. And I also like how they have grease fittings.

The grease fittings are nice, but I think the backing nut on them is the biggest plus. With the OEM endlinks, you have to use a hex key to keep the stud from spinning as you loosen/tighten the nut. The MOOGs have a a nut thats at the base of the stud and it makes it easy to install/deinstall.
