Droppin it WHILE it's hot
I keep readin all these posts about Comptech vs. Eibach, and they all talk about the Eibach springs droppin the car more than 2". I found the Eibach Pro Kit 4014.140 in my search, sayin it lowers the front AND back 1.5".
Am I missing something? I'd like to drop the front and back the same amount, cuz I don't want my '01 CL-S to lean forward any more than it already does, and I can't get this with the comptech springs.
If these Eibach springs do really drop it by only 1.5", I won't need the cambers, will I?

Not sure what site says that they lower 1.5'. Tirerack says 2' in front and 1.7' in the rear, which is more in line with the other folks on the forum. Also keep in mind that if you go with aftermarket shocks/struts and the springs the car is usually a bit lower than just going with the springs and the stock struts. You will need to do the camber for any drop over 1 inch.
I just did the Comptech springs, Tokico HPs shocks and upgraded to a 18' rims. I have looked at a few drops with just the comptech springs and stock struts and my ride is just a bit lower. I love the ride and the look. I will post a few pics for ya on the forum. Are you planning on changing the shocks at the same time? I highly recommend it.
