CT spring questions....................

Okay, this is for the CL owners that have CT lowering springs (silver). I know that in the past year or two there has been an issue with the CT springs rusting and just braking/snapping. My question, Is this an issue that is just happening to the CL owners that live in the northern states of the country where salt and sand is thrown on the road ways? or Is this a situation in which the springs will just snap/crack/rust due to poor quality?. How many owners in the southern states have experience breakage of there CT springs.

It's mainly happening to those that live in colder winters where salt is needed or used.

My set on my old car were fine. I got another used set for my new CL, & those are fine as well.
