Arrow control arm pillow ball joint

I decided to inspect the front left and right, and upon inspection I noticed that the front left pillow ball (part of the SPC camber kit) is cracking and it looks unusuable (Basically it looks like small openings are letting small amounts of grease out and it looks like the bottom of the pillow ball is sagging). The front right side is in an oval shape where the grease sits in the middle.

I'm assuming that the front left is shot. I've read up on the SPC kits failing prematurely.

I'm thinking an upgrade is in order, I have a feeling that is part of the problem that my steering wheel is crooked.

Is that different from the upper and/or lower ball joint seen here as #3 and #6?

Tom- sorry to hear of your premature spc kit failure! I am running bone stock, but have noticed a clunking coming from the front suspension, I think I have it narrowed down to those ball joints. Do you have a similar sound coming from your left front?

Tom- I am still researching on how to replace those little suckers. while the replacement part(s) is cheap, I think I will have to buy a $100 tool to press them in and out.

btw- love your new wheels!

Thanks on the comment, I've done some researching myself and I think I'm going to get the full Ingalls control arm with the pillow ball. Those are supposed to be really good. There are a few members on here that are using them right now.
