coilover life expectancy

on my last 2 previous cars coilovers werent manufactured for them (3rd gen maximas) so im finally getting some coilovers for the cl, either Nex SS or Tein basics. what do you do when the struts wear out? price for rebuild? downtime? i assume the stiffer you go the quicker the rate of wear on them right? thanks for any input

my basics have over 60k miles on them and they still work extremely well. i think the expactancy is between 40-60k miles. tein rebuilds the struts if you need it. around $50 per strut?
