Buying wheels: Help me decide
Well, tires are wearing down and its almost summer. I was thinking why not just get a package wheels and tires. Something new for my baby. So i've decided a new set of wheels and tires should do the trick.
Problem is, is that i can't find a set i'd settle with this summer. Now my brother-in-law just happens to own a wheel distribution company which sells blinging ass wheels--- Status, Elements, Ruff, and Nakayamas.
Looking for some expert advice...use to have gunmetal with silver trim. I'm thinking black with silver trim. Can i get some help for Satin Silver CL type S of course.
Here is the website i'm looking at. I'm choosing from these wheels because i get a hugh discount. Input would be a plus.
This is the one i'm leaning towards...
http://www.statuswheels.com/wheels/w...=48&brand_id=4
Here is the site

I'll post pics of the car with the wheels when i get the opinions on which ones would look best.

Well I'm an avid hater of chrome on japanese cars..BUT, the style you have shown in the first link looks great in hyper silver, I'd rock em.
But chrome is a no no imho.

I just put Enkei fd-05 on my 03cl. I love them. I agree with onese1f. Chrome just doesnt look right on jap cars. I think the "tuner" style rims are best. But, to each his own!
And also, check out www.discounttiredirect.com . They did a great job with my wheel/tire package, save me a lot of cash, plus free m/b and shipping!

I like chrome wheels and I have had chrome wheels on my CL and have seen many CL's with chrome that look good. So like camaroracer16 said to each his own. I like the rims in the picture and I like that it has a big lip my only question is what's the offset because it might not fit correctly.

I think it is 45 MM offset. I think i like the Hyper Silver little more than the chrome. My wife has a set of chrome wheels on her TL and i'm still not sure about them.
I think i'm ok with a 45 MM offset.
