Question Black 19s or Chrome 19s...Which way to go....

I cant decide what finish I want to put on the car. It is a NBP. And these are the wheels for reference:

go for the 18's, heavy 19's aren't you friend for performance (or gas mileage lol).

If you're lookin's for power, wheels are going to suck some of it away. I would stick with the 18's. Or get the 19's and have a set of light weights for the track. Either way, I think those black with the polished lip would look great on a black CL.

Before you buy these wheels... You really should get a wheel with an offset of +45 if you plan on lowering the car. If you do not lower the car with these wheels, your car will make the cover of 4x4 magazine. Do yourself a favor and find a wheel that works best for the CL

I just did a search on these wheels and im finding they have a +20 offset

I would definitely go black for whatever my opinion is worth. I think you know the pros and cons now of 18s vs 19s. You just gotta pull the trigger

Here a question. Spoke to my supplier, I can get these wheels in 18x8.5 or 19x8.5 with a +45 offset. Will I have rubbing issues?

if your drop is anywhere near halfway decent yes. =P (depending on how stiff your shock and spring set up is).

Why is that, because of the 8.5" width?

along with the offset, depending on your tire set up (and assuming you're not running crazy negative camber), the wheels will most likely go out past the fenders ==> rubbing anytime you hit a dip =/.

i say go for chrome.

but i'm a whore for chrome wheels

yea if you go with a 8.5 width slammed or even lowered you will rub especially w 19s

but if you want performance in mind forget 19s...although they look better in my opinion

If you had a straight on side shot of the wheels I can photochop it for you. If you find one I'll do it.

i like the black on chrome, but you need to find a wheel that is 18x8 or 19x8 and +48 or higher is better.
