i remember speaking with someone from tein any they said the coilover comes 1 inch shorter from the factory. so i think 1/4 from the top might give the drop. i just did it like the reply above. do it till it looks right.

I thought this is how everyone did it. Just double check the height from the jackpoints to the ground to be sure its even all around.

with your spoke pattern you should be able to lower the tein coils without jacking up the car at all to your desired ride height.

On a slightly related note, invest in a decent floor jack. Preferably a low-profile one. It will make your life easier.
I picked up a 3ton floor jack from harbor freight that does its job very well, but it barely fits under the side jackpoints with about less than an inch (maybe 3/4") of threads left on my teins.

LMAO good luck with that. The weight of the car is resting on that adjustable perch you are trying to move. You need to jack it up, it will save you a lot of TIME.

agreed. you will save more time by jacking up all 4 corners and having adequate room to get your arm in between the tire and fender than trying to squeeze inbetween a spoke. i would think that 1/2'' down the threads would equal 1/2'' lowering. i just get one side done how i like it and count the visible threads on the bottom and match the other side. F and R is different i think.

Before:

After:

we'll have to see how long i leave it at this height seein as how my camber is WAY negative now...no camber kit here

Looks mUCH better! Keep in mind tho, every time you adjust those, the alignment is off.
