Accord Eibach Sportlines on a CL-S

Im thinking about getting some sportlines but the springs im looking into getting are for the 4 cylinder 98-02 accord and not the v6.. what do you guys think about that? theres 2 sets of sportlines for the I4 and V6 so there must be a difference to compensate for weight.

Quick responses are appreciated since the guy is waiting on my decision... thanks

I don't see why they wouldnt fit.. the shocks hes selling with the combo, tokico illuminas have both the same part number for the 01-03 CL, CL-s as the 98-02 Accord shocks.

And all the different types of springs you can use fit in those shocks... anyone with more experience can chime in please?

The struts will work, the springs were not made to withstand the extra weight of the V6 so you can't use the springs.

do you have 6spd or auto? i know auto weights more than 6spd due to the tranny. If u have 6 6peed than it may compensate for the extra weight so it may work, it you have auto i woulnd't suggest it. More stress on the front shocks shorter life, and more bounce may even bottom out at times.

Yeah im 5AT, the weight on a 2002 accord sedan EX 4 cylinder (heaviest model) is 3164

So theres about 350lbs extra weight if the springs were to go on a CL-S. Not a big deal until I load my car up with passengers and stuff in the trunk.

It is a pretty decent deal.. the weight of 2 people in my car is about the same as 4 in the accord ex sedan 4cyl... and I usually always have 2 people in my car, sometimes 3. Is it worth it? eibach springs are of decent quality, these have about 42k on them. BUT my main concern is if the drop is even front and back.. anyone have any pictures? everything i've found in a search has a bad angle that doesnt show the gap front and rear.

there's more prokits used than sportlines. you have tokico illumina's so that should be a good combo, but they have 42k, i know shocks get week over time. The front will prop be lower because of the v6 engine.
