If you had wheels powdercoated, have any regrets?

Would black chrome wheels look good on an anthracite? Need a wheel repair and am thinking of powdercoating my RonJon Servos at the same time.

From seeing pictures from other posts related to black chrome powdercoated wheels, they look pretty good but wonder what the Servos would look like on an anthracite.

And, does anyone know if and how my RonJon Servos can be repaired? Friend backed car into a curb and rashed a wheel-

I'm trying to picture black chrome powdercoated... and I don't think it'd look good on anthracite... =/. Too similar in colors IMO. But who knows, until someone actually posts pictures, it's worth a try.

 

I think it'd be pretty unique. I say go for it.

 

I think it would be awesome. If I knew anywhere local around the Orlando are that did it, I would do it to my rims.

 

i know of a wheel shop in waldorf, md.
nationwide wheel repair. they fix bent rims and curb rash.
i'm going on saturday to get my rims checked to see if they are bent.

i fixed the shop manager/owner's nextel phones the other day and were talking about the process of fixing bent and curb rashed rims. he seemed pretty cool, they do most of the local dealerships' rim repairs including bmw and acura dealerships in VA.

their number is 1 800 710 dent.

i do believe Gary Goodrich offers Black chrome.

 

Thanks for the info umcp. I am curiouas as to how black chrome would look on my car, I think it would look pretty good. How much does powdercoating run, about $100 a wheel?

I know this is a SUPER old thread, but I wanted to know if you ended up doing the black chrome on anthracite. I've got anthracite too and was thinking of doing the emblems and rims in black chrome. Let me know, thanks!
