You’d probably be OK, but I wouldn’t chance it.
If one blew and caused an accident. You’d be out of luck with a claim.

Actually, i did a calculation.

TLS weight 3500 pounds
Maximum weight with passengers : 4300
Weight distribution 62/38
Max weight on front tires = 62% * 4300 * 1/2 = 1333

Based on that 90 is probably enough. OEM 93 is MORE than enough.

OEM is 93, I've been on 91 for a while with 235\40\18 Pirelli PZero Rossos, I wouldn't chance an 88.

88 is way too low -- period.

I did the math in an earlier thread, and with a bit of weight in the car, you would be well beyond the tires’ load capacity. Toss in some speed and heat, and kiss your ass Definitly a recipe for music.

If you do this, you might want to create a form for your passengers to sign before you drive them anywhere. ("Release from Liability Form”)

Looking into 225/40/18 Kumho 712's but the load rating is too low.

225/45/18 will probably rub on 18x7.5 +42 offset with comptech drop.

I may have to consider other wheels but I really love the Axis Se7en Mod!!!
