215 vs 225 ?

I know this has been beaten into the ground....
Whats the general consensus on new tires?
I'm debating over stock tires 215/50/17
vs
225/45/17

whats your guy's take on these two sizes?

Plan on keeping it stock height but just want a better look and ride
always welcomed!

thanks everyone

get 235-45-17

225 is smaller & will throw off you speedo.

You can fit 235's fine.

but you can also go for 225/50/17 and stay within spec

I am feeling all the grooves in the road with my 235s, so personally I'd go for 225/50 next time. I chose 235 mainly for a better/wider look, however I don't like to hold the steering wheel firmly all the time.

That might be just that brand of tire & tread. I never had that feel with 4 sets of 235 tires. And 225-50-17 is still a little off, not as bad as 225-45 though. About 1mph slow.

Not really. They look fine to me. Do a search on them. There are posted pics somewhere.
