215/35/18 front tires

Anyone running 215/35/18 for front tires ?
right now I have 225/40/18's but they are to tall for the fender going over bumps turning. And to wide with the drop, like I need spacers in the front, because their rubbing the body too.
The tires are just about rubbing turning the wheels on flat ground.
So I think the 215/35/18 will bring me a 1/2" lower then I can adjust the coilovers higher for same drop and tires will clear fenders and would be able to get more suspension travel too.
I'm going to try this, before running spacers
I just don't want to get the smaller tires then end up with a bent rim a week later.
The wife allready calls me the rim cracker.

I will end up getting spacers too.
Gotta try out the hellaflush look.

The tires are exactly what I would want to buy since they are nexxen 3000's and I able to get a pair basically new for $100.
And if I don't like them I could switch back and sell the other 2 and will not lose any funds.
But,I can't get the Craigs seller to answer phone/email.

So the seller called me saying the tires were allready sold.
Even thou his ad says:
If the ads still here the tires are. That's lame....

So now The idea's been put in my head, now I have to buy a pair.

The cheapest I found a pair of the 215/35/18 nexxen 3000's was $170 shipped on ebay.

If anyone knows where I can get these tires any cheaper I would appreciate the lead.

I am allready doing a 40.
I need some extra clearance.
A friend on mine has 35 series on his accord and said just switching to the 35 series has made his car quicker.
Quicker from some $170 tires????? I'll try them out.
The most that will happen is I don't like them or I get another bent wheel.
