true. should get some negative camber if i slam it which will help, but i found skunk2 coilovers and will hopefully be getting them this week. 1"-3" drop

true, it'll be a risk. but if u purchase a used set... if it doesn't work out just resell u won't lose mcuh or sell ur wheels

they shouldn't stick out much the rims will stick out about .4-.5 inches... the tires should tuck in

you get those coilovers yet??? im considering going with the same fitment rim as you (20x8.5) except with a better offset (45)......but i reeally wanna see how you do with coilovers as far as rubbing issues and fitmenT. Cuz if your okay with yours, then i know ill be okay if i go with the 45 offset.

btw are your fenders rolled? consider doing that too if you rub..

the rims are nice I considered them at one point before i got other rims, but you need to take those wheels and have them shaved to avoid any potential problems to at least a +45 offset. those wheels are sticking out way too much and if you slam that car you definetly will be rubbing dirty.

thats pushing it IMO. you have two options- get 8.5 with 45 offset or 38 (the wheels you really want) but you wont be able to drop it low, or you can get wheels that fit the car and have a low aggressive stance. even with my ronjons i had to roll my fender, they tucked just fine without doing so but i wouldnt drive the car like that, that fender lip is pretty substantial. right now i have an index fingers gap and dont have rubbing issues. i once thought about getting some 8.5 wide with 38 offset, im glad i didnt, id much rather have something that fits with little/no gap than have wheels with a 2 inch gap. no offense to anyone thats just my thought on it.

performance reasons lol? you cant say that without explaining. no one spends thousands of dollars on wheels then decides they dont want them anymore in a matter of a few months.

personally i dont think 8.5 with 38offset fits....at least if you want to have a daily driver zero gap with correct camber ride.

they fit perfect because of the tires, and they would have now even with the drop i have. the 20's were heavy and acceleration was slower because of it and thats why i went smaller.

Really? I would have thought it could last longer than that. It doesn't look too extreme. Maybe its just because of the angle of the photo.
