19x10+20 All around ?
I'm planning on buying a 03 Cl 6 speed within a few months , my father owns a 02 auto type s so I'm familiar with the car , anyways I had plans to go for a aggressive stance 18x9 +35,18x10.5+20 for a wheel combo on the Cl , but that has a lot of cons as I know , fwd, oversteer, bad handling , no good in winter (when I plan I buying the car) & I can't rotate running staggered , so that has alot of doubts lol
Anyway I found some 19x10+20 wheels but for all around , I know I can get the rear on with some pull & roll , but is 10 too wide for the front ??? Would it even matter since its not staggered ?
The wheels come in that or 19x8.5+15 , I wanted Atleast 9.5 all around if I wasn't going staggered , so 10 is as close as I can get .
So basically question is would I need to do front fender work to make the 10 fit ? Would it require a lot of stretch tire ? Or is a 10 just too wide for a fwd ?
Help me out guys , I've did tons of research on this stuff but I'm not sure on that one .

Was messing around and test fitted this wheel for a shoot on another car, decided to see what they look like on the CL. 18" x 8.0" with a 32mm offset & 225/40/18, rubbed instantly with a moderate drop, I have NO idea what you will have to do to get such an extreme spec wheel to fit. Why not just go with what works instead of creating all these problems for the sake of some numbers on your wheels?

the CL really isnt a "hellaflush" type car. youre going to have all loads of problems trying to get into parking lots, parking garages, side streets driveways, etc.
my 18x8 +40 wheels with a 2" drop rub occasionally on bumps in the road.
9" wide and a +30 offset would be the max for this car

How did you see this:
and subsequently ask this:
Look at pictures of what works and find a stance you like. If you choose to get 19x9 et20s, please do post pics. I seriously love threads like that. It's either going to be hellafail or Mexiflush.

My post was based on the fact that "hellaflush" is USUALLY associated with RWD and the VIP scene.
My buddy Rajca has a pretty aggressive setup on his CL and it looks great but I would rather have something more practical since I live in Chicago and use the car year-round.
I believe he actually has a more aggressive setup than you Diddy since he has on the front a +20 and rear a +15

oops my mistake lol I remember there was a 9" and the spacers made it between +15 and +20
still looks crazy in person and he has to drive on an extreme angle just to get in his driveway

I know you, lippstuh, and nspec all have had a bunch of different aggressive wheel setups over the years so I'm just trying to decide on what to do. What's your opinion on those sizes I said in the post earlier? I still need to decide what offset if I decide to stick with that width.
