18x8 wheels on lowered type s....

i am going to drop my cl...heres my setup: tokico hp blue struts on tein h. techs 18x8 accord rims with 55 offset
HERES MY QUESTION!!!
WILL I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS RUNNING A 235/45/18 WITH THESE RIMS AND LOWERED? SHOULD I BE USING A DIFFERENT TIRE SIZE WITH THIS SETUP?

You sure the offset is +55 & they are 8" wide? If so they won't fit lowered or not.
The added width plus the stock offset or +55 will make the rim hit the inside fender near the strut.
You need to push the rims out a little. A +50, or +52, or +48 would be good.
You could get spacers though.

Also you want 235-40-18 tires. Those are the direct fit.

BTW I'll be in SI this weekend.

wow...really... these wont fit?? these are the 2008 honda accord coupe v6 rims... 18x8 with a 55 offset...honda recomended tire size 235/45/18...holy s#!t i thought these would bolt right up...and the tire size.. according to 1010tires.com the proper tire for plus sizing from 17x7 to 18x8 is 235/45/18...these keeps the speedo and odometer the closest to stock setup....please clarify guys..oh ya what part of si??

according to 1010tires.com the proper tire for plus sizing from 17x7 to 18x8 is 235/45/18...these keeps the speedo and odometer the closest to stock setup
i'm an idoit...225/45/18 is better then the 235...just checked 1010tires.com

Lol you are not lying. I live on staten island also and the fact that they started ripping everything up makes me not want to get rims lol. But yea get 48 offset with a nice tire and it should not rub.
