18x7.5 +43 offset with 225/40/18 fit

I've done the research. But just want a definitive yes or no. No drop btw. Thanks for the help.

A higher offset would be better, but with no drop you shoud be fine. I have the same size tires and a comptech drop but my wheels have a +50 offset and they don't rub.

it should fit fine. i have the same offset with 19x7.5 and dropped (H&R sport) without any issues. tires are 225/35/19.

They will stick out fairly well though. My +45 offset is about dead-even with the fender-well(same size wheel & tire). My tires throw stuff up my car past the mudflaps...

So should the offset be higher than 45?

I think 45+ and higher is safe. I have 18x7 with a 42 offset and I have the occasional rub in the rear. Oh and I am not lowered!

I just installed a 18 x 7.5, with a +45. Tires are 235/40/18 - 25.4" tall (the closest tire size in height to the stock height of 25.5" tall) with a Comptech drop. No rubbing whatso ever.
The attached photo shows where mine sit in relation to the fender/mud flap.

The wider the wheel you have, the more offset you may require. Stock wheels are very conservative at +55. An 18 x 8 with a +40, would stick out, but a 18 x 7 could be ok.
