18" Momo's

Whats up guys? I haven't been around in awhile but now I'm back b/c I need some help. I bought some tein basics and am now looking at getting some Momo Course 18" in gunmetal. The size is 18x7.5 and tirerack.com says for tires 225/45. Is that the right size tire or am I still going to have a huge tire? You're not cool tuckin 50 series so what about 45? I wanna slam it good but don't want rubbing so can somebody shoot me in the right direction? Thanks fellas!

Thanks so far guys, could I fit 235/40-18's or would it be too wide? My problem is I'm in the navy and I'm out in the Gulf so I can't just drive to the local wheel and tire guys so all this help is pretty sweet! Thanks again!
