How can you be proud of not working for so long? this is the second time I am aware of you post your affluence.

Personally I find it odd anyone would do that on a public forum, If for no other reason than it just sounds silly.

I am proud I work hard and have done so for longer than you have been most likely been alive.

Seems people's mind set is backwards, just my 2cents.

Please for christs sake drive that car off a cliff and let it die with some dignity.

Do you guys not read? RP has kept things very civil despite the constant attacks and name calling. You can offer an opinion without insults, all 3 of you are getting 1 warning, back off or you will get banned. There is NO need to carry on like this, especially after I've already warned you and asked you to stop with the insults. All 3 of you need to quit with the insults immediately, but JBlueCLS6 you are really out of line and need to back off. This is my only warning, I think in kindergarten they teach if you can't say something nice don't say anything, stop insulting and grow up, next person out of line gets time off

I was never attempting to be a ass ever.
Nor was I trying to be a ass with my return comments guys.
Only showing what I'm doing with my car.
Everybody does not have the same of interest and that's fine,at least with me.
Far as money,
Some one said I was broke but, trying to clear that up .
I'm not.
I don't go around saying I got this I got that for no reason.
I'm 35 and don't need to impress anyone.
I'm very grounded.
I grew up in apartment complexes my whole life till about 3-4 yrs ago.
So I do know the lows, now finally stable in a house. With a family and it does feel like I'm loaded.Only because The places I lived before.
And sure I would like to have a job but when I moved to nc with a trade as a plasterer it was a flop.
Plastering does not exists here.My 1500 a week job is gone and my area has a very low employment rate.NC sucks.
So got to make do with what I have and make money how ever.
Don't bother asking how.
It just comes to me.

Got the car lined up this morning now heading back to do the wheels and tires after lunch.

RP you're not helping, you're adding fuel to the fire by posting pics of cash and bragging about buying beds and stuff. I realize cabrio said you're broke and that you were insulted, but let's try to keep this on topic about the wheels. Post up some pics once you get the wheels and tires mounted up. Let's keep this civil guys

Wheels are on but,I'm having issues.....
All wheels lost air in 15minutes from the bead
so the car has jacks on all 4 corners
Dealing with seller now.

What are tubes?

You might need tubes.

Yeah. That's right. All cars used to have tubes like bicycles.

With all those spokes, there's a lot of places for air to escape.

I said nothing about his money but why brag on a forum or be proud of not working. For the record.

cant have everything.

You don't have to worry about them getting stolen because wire spoke wheel center caps get tightened by lead Hammers that hit the cap shut. The hammer doesn't damage the wheel because lead is a softer material than gold.

Some do use tubes just so they don't have to deal with the sealing issues.
Properly sealed wheels wont leak.
These wheels had some of the sealent(silicone) up on the bead were the tire sits.
Normally I would run a wire wheel around the inside if there was derbris but,not being familer with wire wheels I had them mounted.
And thats where mine seam to be leaking from.crossing fingers.
that way I can remove the extra silicone and atempt a new mount.
ended up costing me $100 to mount and balance.
So I got to pay just to get them unmounted.Fix and another $100 back on.
They look sick day and night.
I just need the seller to stand behind his sale and help out with cost.
I'm almost 30days into the sale.So I basically stuck with them.
I guess I could open a dispute cuz I think you have 45days.
shitty deal for me so far.
I got about 1300 into wheels, tires, adapter kit,mount/balance,alignment. And my car is sitting on 4 jacks.
What a day.
My new bed came today thou and it's huge and thick.
Maybe I can rest away todays stresses.

So are you mounting the wheels with an adapter with lugs? Or are they getting tightened with the Cap as well?

mine is simular.
Mine does not have the prong centers they have the hex.
So it basically a big nut.
When I installed mine.It has a 3 prong style wrench to goes on the hex.
I took a polishing jewlery rag and put it on top of the hex then put the tool on. And installed with a regular hammer.
No chipped gold.
They look amazing but, now they have to come off and go back on.
leaving more chances for damage.

they use both.
adapters with short hollow lugs. Then the centers to hold the wheel.
Cool set up.
I could go from 18 to 20's to 22'schrome or gold or colored spokes really quick with the adapters on
like indy cars

Their is things need to be done to compensate for bigger wheels and tires.
right now I'm 2" low.18's no problem
20's with 225/30/20's
22's with 225/30/22's with stock height suspension, preferably with a 25 series tire so it's close as you can get to the stock tire size.

The 20" setup would be crazy
but the 18 spokes weigh twice as much as my sacchi's.
don't know if I would want that much weight

Hey man props to you for doing something different. IMHO, I think if the rims are causing too much hassle open up a dispute and get your money and use that money to buy some Gold VS-XX if you continue your gold theme with the car. I think they might compliment your car nicely. In the end its your car, so do what makes you feel happy. Be positive we are all getting shitted on with the economy but keep your head up.

I do but, with the car on jacks,so it should look like it should have 24's on it.
I will put one up in a minute so you can see.
It looks way differnt sitting low thou.

Had two wheels unmounted today and the seal job is all over the beads where it should not be.
I asume thats how the others are too.
seller trying to blame shipper first
then the installer.
when he sent bad sealed wheels.
They can be fixed with a day of work but,why should I have to fix anything????????

^ air was leaking from the beads.
And went down as soon as the car was on the ground.
Wheel are sealed over the spokes nipples to prevent air from escaping.
The wheels I got the seller did a bad job on a reseal.
He has silicone on the beads on all 4 wheels and thats where they are leaking from.
First the seller was going to be copertive last night now I'm the scammer.
I have slips from the work getting done and pics after I dismounted them.
And he still dont think its a problem.well it got to be like 3mm think in places.
He's blaming everyone but himself.
What does everyone think.
In the back of my mind it looked like it could've been a issue to me since I'm use to using a wire wheels grinder to give the bead a once over to make sure the tire sits.
Being I was not familer with the wires I just had them mounted.

I am curious where did you buy them from?

And did you repair them or waiting for his response before repairing?

Seems like he is trying to pull a fast one on you from the looks of it by selling you an inferior product.

He is sticking it to me.
He messages me back telling me left and right they were fine and holded air when they left.
I gave him positive feed back when I got the wheels saying arrived as described.
But was not aware of the problem for a month later.
I went to start a claim and by the time I was done it said I took to long and had to redo the whole thing over.
I've been going threw alot of BS from the seller .I know, the guys at the low rider store ,the guys at rimco know and everyone else who seen the wheels know.
Including the lowrider guys.
everyone except him. how convenient..
I don't know .Maybe call the guy out and bash him on every site ,show all pics I have.
If he didn't live so far he would have serious issues.I would pay a new CH everyday to beat him down till he gave me back my dough.
Probally shouldn't say that but,I just put like 1300 out just because I wanted these wheels on. And now my car is totally sitting on jacks and stands no wheels.
Maybe I will start a hover craft project.
I got to try to find some humor somewhere.
Been seriously thinking stupid.

ah stuff happens man, I got the money to fix the issues and are inclined to do them myself.
I just wish I did not have two.
I should go throw some loose wheels under there just in case it gets windy.
That would put me over the edge for sure if I came out in the morning and the car was flat on the ground.
I know its not my cars fault but, crap like this makes me wonder why I even bother.

Did you lower the car off the jacks with the wheels yet? See if you can trim the fender liner

The car was down for about 2-3 minutes before realizing the tires were losing air fast.wheels were whistling from the beads as soon as their was weight on them
The wheels seam to fit just about where the 40+ offsets were.
But I was jacking the car back up to soon to really tell.
Still haven't put the new inner fenders on yet.
Clips should be here on the 3rd along with other little things.

well after about a hour of scraping I have 1 wheels bead half way cleaned. What fun.
That may equal 8hrs just to clean the beads.
I'm going to pick up some dremel attachments today to see if I can blow them out I little faster.
I will remount 2 tomorrow to see if this fixes the problem.
If not they will have to totally resealed.
And that would be so terrible.
Might have to dump them then.
I'm not going to spend anymore than a days worth of time fixxing them that's for sure.
If it don't work out I will either get the lightest 18's I can find or go with some big wheels 20,22's.

Both the 2 that are unmounted in the pic both have the bead cleaned now.
I am going to attempt a remount today and see if this fixes the issue.
I really hope it does or both the color strips need to come off.
black should come off easy, the whiteish color is hard as a rock.
Seller won't answer the # he gave me.
Won't return my calls or my emails anymore.
keeping fingers crossed the remount works.
the 2 wheels got me for 3hrs of labor allready.
