'07-'08 TL Type-S Rims on '01 CL Type-S

Just picked up a set of Tl Type-S rims over the weekend wrapped in some Bridgestone Blizzaks : ) (kinda late for winter tires but now I'm ready for next year)
I think they look pretty mean on the SSM CL!
Any suggestions for summer tires?

Looks good on the CL. Are they really dirty or is it really scratched up in that first big picture?

Gotcha. I had to take a closer look . Those are the same wheels as the A-spec TL's right? I the A-specs are darker?

No, these are the "Type-S" rims. The "A-specs" are a 5-spoke design, not 10-spoke. And they come in different finishes, mine are silver and theres a gun-metal color too

Very nice, I love these wheels! They look kinda light, is that also because they're dirty.

Edit: What are you lowered on?

I could just be looking at the pic wrong but in the "rear fender gap" pic it seems like the rotation arrow is pointing the wrong way. Did you mix up a couple of the wheels while putting them on?

good call Vlad. OP: your left rear is mixed up. the left front is fine though.

I never saw that shade of TL-S rims before. I've seen the "normal" gunmetal ones and chrome ones but never the silver ones. I like the gunmetal ones better.

yea dude you should. Some tires have a unique tread design where they needed to be mounted on a certain side of the car.

well i found out it was the driver rear and passenger front that needed switching, so i did that. The arrow points towards the front of the car right?

no scrapping on the fender if that what you mean and it seems to be the same grip, but since theyre winter tires it might feel the same...? Once i get a set of summer rubber it should feel more planted with more rubber on the ground.

Yes, when the arrow is at the top of the tire. It points towards the back when the arrow is at the bottom of the tire. just imagine how the tire will rotate when the car is on motion and see in the arrows are facing th right way, thats how i imagine it.

Nice. I did not know they made these wheels in silver. I haven't seen one set around here. I think they look better in silver. Nice pick up.

Weird how they look silver more than Gunmetal. I think its a decent way to run snow tires. But for summer driving, 18" at least to swoon the hunnies.
