03 CL-S - Are these normal things

I cant tell if my car is messed up, or whether i have not adjusted to the large vehicle. It seems like I always have to be correcting the wheel. Instead of going in a straight line it is like a series of small zig zags. Curves are a series of small corrections instead of being able to lean into it so to say. I have had it aligned. I take my hands off of the wheel and apply the brakes to check for obvious pull, but cannot get consistent results. Any comments please.

2nd concern: is it my transmission, or did my wife foul the fuel injectors by using the cheap gas that one time. There is a stuttering tendency. The tranny does not seem to like maintaining a speed. Acceleration is fine. Are these the awful 'tranny' issues that I have seen referenced on the board.

Thanks

not normal - you may have something bent in the suspension or your toe setting may be off. the constant need for correction sounds a lot like my car when it had excessive toe-out.

did the shop that performed the work give you a sheet showing the settings before and after alignment?

Please dont start another tranny thread please, it makes me depressed!

Do you have any aftermaket suspension mods? Maybe camber issues? what are your tires look like?

Take it to the dealer that should be under warranty!

thanks

thanks gang. i think it is the sensitivity to the road. there are no mods on the car, and i have not been able to get it to do the same annoying things consistently. it seems there is always a different annoying thing.

to those familiar with the road issues - have you experimented with different tires?

since you cant adjust the caster on this model, and am not going to change out any springs, etc. until they need replacement so the tires will be the next $ investment.
ventus are on there now.

on a happier note - had an open stretch and took 4th from 2500 to 6000 today and just had to smile. too bad i dont get to drive it until the end of the week so i can keep the miles under 50k until i get to the dealership and have them check all the things hitting the warranty
