Is it worse it??

Guys my car is 2001 cl s . 96000 miles on it and I never had any problems with anything....Transmittion is great and nice. I do have bolstein sport shocks , HR sport springs, icebox, headers, rotora rotors ...bunch of stuff and very happy with the car .
My friend ....he is a dealer offered me a trade ...trade my car for 2003 cls Automatic tranny
54 000 miles on it ...plus i have to put some money down 4 000 .
Is it worse it to take all good stuff frm my car and put in in a newer one? ( 1200 dlls) for work ....
Are 2003 cl s model have a lot of problems I shoud be aware of? Any advice ?
Thank.s!

Guesstimate the math.

$10,000 ’01 CL-S (96k)
1,200 Your Mods
4,000 Money Down
$15,200 Total

Might be worth it. ’03-S (54k) would probably go for around $16,500.

I think it boils down to... "Do you REALY want another Autotragicmission?" I guess you'd be in the '03 pretty good if you did.

Tuff choice...

I would definately take the intake and rotors. The 03 warp just like the 01.

If the headers are Comptechs, I'd swap those too.

How old are the springs and struts? If they are more than 30 to 50K, just get new ones.

Springs ant shocks are 10-15000 miles ..but my car is too low for NY so I may get a new springs. Headers are ...ups I forgot the name ...the second ones after comptechs.... Headers are almost new 5-6000 miles on them. They fit great never had any problems with install.
I'm just worry about a tranny.....you see my car is 2001 and I don't know what the tranny problem is ( Thank's God) The car is very good...no problems at all so the scary part is to trade for somenthing I don't know unless I'll drive it for 2-3 years

Your springs should last forever. And I don't know about aftermarket struts but the stock ones should last at least 60K.

The '01 only has another 4,000 miles coverage on the transmission. If you do choose to buy the '03, you'll be getting another 46,000 miles of coverage.
