windshield nozzle sprayer thing

windshield nozzle sprayer thing

so the other day i was trying to spray my windshield and nothing came out of the nozzle.. lifted the hood to find that something on the nozzle broke. does anyone know what part i need to get this fixed besides going to the dealer? do i replace the whole nozzle head? thanks

and how do i remove the clip that is holding the spray nozzle in place?

Nozzles #5 are held by one screw and expansion clip but cover #16 will most likely got damaged - at least i did not manage to take em out without ripping the clips

See if the hose is clogged. I unplugged the hose from the nozzle and had someone pull the stalk. A bunch of stuff came out and its working fine now (well actually my window washer tank is empty cause I dont use it and for weight savings).

yea thats what i was wondering too... cause those things are pretty snug on there

What type of screwdriver did you use to unscrew it? At a junk yard, I tried using a precision (very small) phillips head on one side and a precision flat head on the other side and in both cases, it just seemed to not fit securely into the screw head and tear the head. Are those screws plastic? An engineering genius must have planned that attachment.
