What kind of wire shoud I use for fixing heated seat?

Hello.

I've found the Heated seat DIY out but the writer didn't mention about the wire what he soldered to connect the broken heat wire inside the seat? Can anyone tell me what gauge or kind of wire should I use for the job? I don't want to take a part out of my seat over and over.

Thanks.

Something that is slightly bigger than the old wire is what I used.
You want something that will be stronger than the previous wire that failed

i just stopped by Radioshack. There were many different wires from 18 to 30 gauge. Which one should I need?
