Vsa light constant with a stuttering

Hello all ,
I am new here and have read just about every vsa problem I have had. I just wanted to start a new thread about my issue at hand. Ok so first, my vsa light comes on and stays illuminated. There is no way for me to shut it off or back on. The button no longer controls it. When I shut my car off and restart immediately the light stays on. If I leave the car sit for a day the light takes a few minutes to come on. What makes my problem different from other threads is that when I'm driving and that light stays on and when I let go of the gas petal(no braking) the car stutters a bit for like 5 or 6 shakes then seems to go back to normal however it starts all over again when I accelerate and let go of the gas petal again.
I stopped yesterday at a shop to try and get the codes read or cleared but they were closed. It is Sunday so all shops are closed and i have work and unable to do it for a few days. So I have to wait a few days before i can get to the shop again. I just wanted to see if anyone here has come across this issue and what did they do before i take it to the shop. I will let everyone know how this turns out in the next couple of days.

Oh duh. I have an 02 acura TLS 3.2
I want to make sure I thought the vsa and caution light were one in the same. So I want to make clear that the vsa light is not lit, it is the caution sign light.

Have it checked for faults in the ECM, trans, and ABS modules. There should be something to go on there

/!\ constant and vsa lights after driving it

Ok so I finally got the check engine light to go off. The mechanic replaced the idle control motor. So now I have the vsa lit on occasion but steady after it comes on and the /!\ immediately starting the car. The vsa switch does nothing to turn off the light. Cruise control works so In assuming as of now that that switch is working properly.. Transmission fluid was low , so I filled that to the proper level. Any help?

Sorry I forgot to add that my codes that come up are 84-1 neutral position learn.

<br/> ^ #2 SCS - Is just checking to see if the ground is good with a scan tool. If you don't have a scan tool or a scan tool without this feature, then you should assume your ground is good and finish the Neutral Position Memorization procedure and hope for the best.

Oh ok. Thank you. I have to clear the vsa indicator codes first. That I did not do. Does the SRS light need to be cleared as well? Also for clarification, what is the difference between /!\ and the vsa indicator light? Cause the /!\ is constant and the vsa comes on after driving it a bit and gets cleared at every start.

SRS is not relayed to VSA.

Difference between VSA - /!\

VSA indicator is to signal that something is wrong with that system.

/!\ Indicator is to signal that the VSA activating and go off when not activating. Since it's staying on that means there's something wrong with that circuit.

Well, I would fix the VSA first - code 84 since it triggers the /!\.

oh ok. Then it could simply mean I just need the memory procedure done first?

Smile So far so good... Thank u all

So day number two without those stinking lights on. For all of you people with this issue, all I did was take my acura to the dealer and had them run the codes. They said that I had 84-1 and they would need to do more diagnostics. I asked them to clear the codes and they said they prob will come back. Since I was armed with the knowledge from this site, I just asked him to clear the codes and he did. I crossed my fingers and they stayed off so far. Good luck.
