Did a search, found plenty of threads with the same problem I'm having (bad ballast/inverter or bulb) but I'm not sure on the stock size for the bulb. Are they 4300k HID?

And while I'm at it (I swear, I searched), how the hell do you actually change just the bulb? I took a peek today to try and just swap the bulbs around to see if the inverter was the problem, and I don't even know where to begin.

I can see the fitting for the high beam obviously, but the low's behind some serious hardware. I understand I need to pull the bumper to change the electronics, but is it the same deal for just the bulb?

There's a security screw, so you'll need to either buy the tool (torx T25) or use a small screwdriver... turn the cover 45 degrees counterclockwise, same with the plug remove bulb....

Stock bulb is 4300K, but alot of people will just buy 'em in pairs so they match, or they buy a used one.

Definitely try to swap the bulbs first to see if it's just a bulb or if it's the inverter...

Thanks man. In reading around here, I'm going to give the bulb swap a try tomorrow and cross my fingers. The bulb lit up for a day or so and flickered, but last night it turned on this insanely purple color then just poofed.

Otherwise, I have the bumper removal how to from here already printed out, and a case of beer in the fridge in case things go sour. I even ordered a new set of bumper clips, since I'm sure I'll break pretty much all of the damn things taking it off.
