A friend of mine owns a 98 CL and I own a 99 CL. His radio stays on until he opens his door once he disengages his key from the ignition. I would like my car to do the same but no one knows what the feature is called including the dealership where my car was purchased, even the Acura Company. Does anyone know about this feature and how to activate it?

 

Does it stay on for a limited time, or until he opens his doors no matter the time? May some how be wired in to the the same timer that works on your windows when you remove key from ignition.

 

Thanks for your answer. The radio stays on until you open a door. He said it came from the factory like that he did not ask for that feature and he purchased his CL in 1998.

 

Weird. May be the '98s came like that?
