Hi All,

Great site... I had this issue for some time but did not bother with it until they failed me for inspection! My SRS light is on BUT none of the controls on my steering wheel work (including horn, radio controls, cruise control setting). I assume all the problems are connected... Hopeful someone else out there has same issue and has solution/details on fixing. I did check fuses already.

 

Remove the airbag and make sure everything is connected. I have a suspicion that the spool behind the steering is bad though.

 

Yeah, sounds like you need to replace the cable reel to me.
