There have been a few times where I noticed the light was off in the 2 weeks I've owned the car. Not sure where to start.

 

So mostly it's on? I'm pretty sure your airbags won't deploy if that light is on.
i got my shirt caught when buckling up one time, got an SRS light and replaced the seatbelt.
I believe seatbelts have a lifetime warranty in the US.

 

They won't. I'm also a bit confused. Is your light usually on or off?
Correct. I had to argue with my dealership a bit, but they fixed mine after I called the manager. Apparently the newer Acuras only have the lifetime seat belt warranty on certain parts, but ours are fully covered on everything.

 

Great to hear that we have that warranty on our cars. I'll go to a deslership when I get the chance and hopefully it's something that they can replace for free. Bonus: the drivers side seat belt retractor doesn't retract all the way. Could that be the issue possibly?
