I had my neighbor run the codes on the car for me and the SRS code is 15-03

Anyone know what this is for I did a search on "code 15-03" got no matches

 

Just called Curry Acura said "no such code" we would have to run a diagnostic and get the correct Acura code thats a "Generic " code

 

Ummm....there actually is a 15-3! It's for the OPDS (Occupant Position Detection System) sensor. It's in your passenger seat, and it's part of the side air bag system.

 

My SRS light just came on last night. I saw a post on here from 2006 from Crown Acura that mentions an extended warranty for 10 years or 150,000 miles. If it is indeed the code you mentioned. Call your Acura dealer to see if your VIN number is covered under the warranty. That's what my local Acura dealer told me.
