Okay so the other day while I was cleaning my car I told my boy to pour in some oil for me since it was a little low. He over-filled.. by a lot. It looked like about 3/4 L overfilled. I didn't notice at the time since I believe the slope of my driveway probably affected the reading on the dipstick.

I drove for a couple days with the engine over-filled with oil. There was a huge restriction in power once I hit above 3-4 RPM's and the deep VTEC moan starts to hit at like 3 now whereas before it was 5. The engine now does fuel cutoff at 5-6 rpms. Overall it's acting sluggish and does not have the same power.

I gave it a fresh oil change and it's still the same. Also the check engine light came on for about 5 secs after I did the oil change.

I feel like the damage has already been done. For now I'm just driving at low rpm's. Anyone know what's going on?
