something is wrong with my electrical

so i put an aftermarket head unit in (kenwood ddx319) over the weekend... not i have a bunch of problems... my dash lights dont come on at night when my headlights are on.. my power locks only work when the keys are in the ignition... my taillights dont light up(unless braking).. now i am 99% sure all the wires are connected correctly.. and i have checked the fuses and the ones that were blown were replaced... need help ASAP

Did you ever found out what the problem was? I'm currently having the same problem. It just started randomly yesterday morning. Let me know if you solve the issue.

After looking in the maintenance manual, sounds like something's awry in the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller"...that circuit includes the tail lights and the dash lights...

The control unit that responsible for those switches is the "Driver's Multiplex Control Unit" which should be tested first if the No. 9 fuse in the driver's underdash fuse box isn't blown AND No. 13 fuse in the passenger's underdash fuse box is fine....

Thanks bro. No.13 on the passenger was blown. Basically my friend told my I might have a loose ground on the radio headunit, so I check it out and I found a loose ground. Since then haven't had any problems.
