Seatbelt replacement
I recently had a car accident and the front seatbelt deployed. I need to replace them, but I read that Acura has a Lifetime warranty for them is that true?
Also I have researched replacement without the sensor are they any good?
I'm planning to change the car next year and don't want to spend to much on it.

Are you talking about the seatbelt or the airbags?
Either way it really doesn't much matter. Warranty (if there is any) would only cover defective products, not as a result of an accident.

its called pretensioner guys. Its a small explosive charge that explodes, exactly like an air bag, and tensions back seat belt. Actually you can rebuild those, just buy any 01-03 honda or acura front belt - pretensioners are exactly the same. Its not ment to be disassembled but I ve done it twice in 20 min. You need a drill with apropriate hex bit and small flat screwdriver. If you need exact instructions just pm me. Seatbelts are srs component and if you do not replace them srs wont work. Also module needs to be replaced or crush data deleted and soft reflashed - do not ask dealer they wont do that part!
