Talking Sc Problem

Well I would like to know if anyone ever had a SC leek, and if your SC or belts screemm in this high pitch noise. It only happens, when I go into boost and v-tech in other words only at high speed. I really need some really good feed back pls

It amazes me that people running superchargers are referring to vtec as "v-tech".

Well its an obvious boost leak which means after the rotors. I bet its the coupler that connects the outlet manifold of the SC and the IM inlet elbow.

You can pretty much get it anywhere, I think its 3 to 4" tall and the diameter is also 3".

Longer ones will be more difficult to fit but you might just think about getting a thicker coupler.

Do you by any chance have the Outlaw IM spacer installed? This would move you IM up a little making alignment of the coupler on the elbow and outlet manifold a little off, if not off at least different.

Can you duplicate the high pitch sound during idle by either just waiting for it or revving it a little?

You make it sound like a competition

It could be I suppose, usually vacuum leaks as the ones im describing become evident at all times, not just at higher rpms, in matter of fact, its probably worse when vacuum is highest under the lowest throttle conditions.

Thats possible, a bunch of vacuum leaks can occur around that thing.
