Raising Headlights (low beams)

I've searched and found a thread that explained it with pictures but the thread was from when the car was first released in 2001 so all the pictures are down and don't appear so can anyone provide a walkthrough with pictures or point me in the right direction....I also looked at the TL forums but I think the process is different

I think its the same for the 03 ones but there is a small gear on the back of the housing with a hex bolt on it, one way raises it the other lowers it

I'm 90% sure its the metal one towards the right, to check just aim the lights against a wall and turn it a bit(quarter or half a turn) the lamp will move if thats it

Hey! Thats my pic! lol

Yea, its the silver adjuster. Its difficult to see that adjuster when the lights are in the car, but use a long phillips head screw driver and a flashlight.

Park on a flat surface 25' from a wall (I find that the loading docks at most places are perfect for this), measure the height of the headlight itself from the ground. Then measure how high the cut off is on the wall; it wont be as sharp as a projector, but you should still make it out - it should look like this: ___/ ___/

The lower part of the light (the horizontal part) is what you are measuring. It should be 2" lower then the height of the headlights from the ground. If you have any problems with it let us know.
